Description[]
- "A combination attack that is useful against jumping opponents."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing Medium Punch, followed by another Medium Punch in succession during mid-jump, M. Bison performs two jumping punches with his fists infused with Psycho Power.
Tactics[]
This attack is an optimal anti-air, especially after guarding or a backwards teleport. Prior to Street Fighter V, M. Bison could only use this attack during a forward or backward jump. In Street Fighter V, M. Bison can use it during a vertical jump, allowing him to use it after blocking aerial attacks or anti-airs such as Akuma's Zanku Hadoken or Cammy's Cannon Spike.
It is very good for juggling, making it a decent combo starter during a forward jump. It can combo into a variety of follow-ups, such as a normal attack, Double Knee Press, Psycho Blast, or even Knee Press Nightmare. During a backward jump, Bison can use this to jump out of range and punish certain attacks that propel the opponent forward, such as a Crouching Heavy Kick from another M. Bison or Balrog's Dash Straight. Doing this can even make charging some of his special moves or finishing moves much easier, to the point he can make use of them upon landing.
The first hit can be whiffed in order to respond in time to an opponent's attack or for mix-ups, and it won't make much of a difference. However, it is best done on an airborne opponent in order to decrease the risks of being punished by counters after blocking or parrying. Moves with Super Armor can still penetrate through Hell Attack, use of the attack in the air is better since the opponent's options to challenge it are limited.
