Inside Slash is Kolin's first V-Skill, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Executed by pressing Medium Punch and Medium Kick simultaneously, Kolin performs a wide swipe in front of her opponent. They attack her with a non-projectile move during the swipe, Kolin negates the attack and counters with a follow-up swipe with the other hand, sending her opponent tumbling backwards.
Tactics[]
Similar to her Frost Touch, this move is one of Kolin's defensive tools. However, Inside Slash is a parry that is less risky. It can counter all kinds of attacks; low and airborne. In addition, her V-Skill can parry Critical Arts. However, it cannot counter projectiles. This requires a hard read and can surprise the opponent. Countering their moves keeps her opponent on their heels, making them think twice about attacking.
While the startup is slower than Frost Touch, it counters any incoming hit from frames 8-16. Successfully parrying an opponent's move allows Kolin to perform a counter that hits twice. The first hit moves her closer toward her opponent, while the second hit results in a knockdown. The range of this attack is decent enough to give Kolin a mid-range move. Even if Inside Slash doesn't counter her opponent's moves, she still advances forward and delivers a swipe to her opponent that is +3 on hit. While her V-Skill is unsafe on block, it can be difficult for her opponent to punish if properly spaced.
