Description[]

"Grab your opponent and send Psycho Power flowing through their body, causing them to explode from within. You will instantly warp to your opponent upon activating this move, making it useful in a variety of situations."
Street Fighter 6
InterdictionSA

Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing kick, JP raises his Psycho Powered arm up in the air before warping toward the opponent to attack them. Once he is in range, JP grabs the opponent by the neck and lifts them up in the air, while transferring Psycho Powered energy from his arm and into their body. After releasing the infected opponent, JP then points the end of his cane at the Psycho Powered core building inside them and taps it. This results in the negative energy inside the opponent to erupt into spikes out of them; overwhelming them and causing them to collapse.

When used as a Critical Art, JP slams his opponent to the ground after choking them. This time, he thrusts the end of his cane into into the floor, which creates a tree of Psycho Powered spikes that pierce the opponent up the structure. As JP turns away and uses a handkerchief to wipe his cane, the Psycho Powered core building inside the opponent's body intensifies. When JP tosses the cloth away, the negative energy inside the opponent to burst into more spikes out of them; piercing through them as they descend back to the ground.

Tactics[]

InterdictionCA

Interdiction is JP's Level 3 Super Art, making it his strongest move in his arsenal. He can cancel this move from her normals, unique attacks, or special moves such as Triglav or Stribog. When JP is down to 25% or less of his health, this move gain an additional boost of damage. It also has a lengthy cinematic animation, allowing JP to recover Drive Meter while draining at least two bars from his opponent. He is fully invincible during the startup frames of this move. Interdiction travels directly to the opponent before striking, making it extremely powerful as a punish tool, especially against projectiles. Even if the opponent is at fullscreen away from JP during a combo, Interdiction brings the JP close the juggled opponent to finish them off with his Super Art to inflict maximum damage. However, this move has an 18-frame startup, making it risky and costly as a reversal option.
