Ryu's stage in Street Fighter Alpha 2.
Japan (日本 Nippon or Nihon?) is a constitutional monarchy located on a group of islands in Northeast Asia, and a recurring country in the Street Fighter series. Many fighters hail from Japan, with Ryu being the most iconic and recurring. Japan has been the sight of various battles because of it. In fact, Japan has been featured in every Street Fighter game thus far (due to Ryu's reappearance in every game). The capital and largest city is Tokyo. The official language is Japanese.
