Executed by pressing down-forward and Medium Kick, Menat drops herself into a front split. She then slides at her opponent's ankles, while keeping the orb balanced on her forehead.
Tactics[]
This move hits low and covers a short distance. It has 11 active frames, which is quite a bit for an attack. Menat is also invincible to most projectiles as she slides on the ground. It can be used to punish her opponent at a distance as they are about to throw a fireball. Judgement of Anubis is unsafe on hit and on block. However, if properly spaced, it can be difficult for her opponent to punish.
Another way to make this unique attack safe is to use it while her first V-Trigger is active. Even if she slides from up close, she can fire one of her projectiles at her opponent. By doing so, Menat can keep her opponent on their heels, or start a combo if they attempt to punish her. In addition, Judgement of Anubis can be used as a combo starter when paired with her Wisdom of Thoth. Despite its minimal damage, this slide can enhance Menat's gameplay and keep her opponent guessing.
