Jus Cool (ジョスクール Josu Kūru?) is one of Dee Jay's special attacks, introduced in Street Fighter 6.

Modern |
Description[]
- "A retreating sway that can lead into kicking attacks or forward maneuvers."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by performing a quarter-circle back motion and pressing kick, Dee Jay steps backwards a short distance. The Overdrive version starts the attack with an uppercut, then taking the step back.
During this time, Dee Jay can follow up with either:
Funky Slicer[]
Classic | +> |
---|---|
Modern | > |
Description[]
- "A low attack performed from Jus Cool that cannot be blocked standing. It is very quick, making it easy to use in combos or as a way of checking your opponent."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Funky Slicer (ファンキースライサー Fankī Suraisā?) is executed by pressing Light Kick during the back step of Jus Cool. Dee Jay swipes his opponent's calves with a low kick with his rear leg. This is mainly used to end combos and to catch the opponent off guard with a low attack.
Waning Moon[]
Classic | +> |
---|---|
Modern | > |
Description[]
- "A roundhouse kick performed from Jus Cool that cannot be blocked crouching. You can continue your attack even if blocked, making it useful when worked into sequences intended to slip through an opponent's guard."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Waning Moon (ワニングムーン Waningu Mūn?) is executed by pressing Medium Kick during the back step of Jus Cool. Dee Jay hops forward for a hammer kick with his rear leg, dropping his opponent. This serves as an overhead to surprise a crouching opponent. The Overdrive version, however, registers as a regular hit.
Maximum Strike[]
Classic | +> |
---|---|
Modern | > |
Description[]
- "A launching kick performed from Jus Cool. If done early it can be used as an anti-air attack, and is also effective as a combo starter."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Maximum Strike (マキシマムストライク Makishimamu Sutoraiku?) is executed by pressing Heavy Kick during the back step of Jus Cool. Dee Jay gets on one hand and does a spinning back kick aimed high. This can be used as an anti-air attack that puts the opponent in a juggle state. It's high hitbox and limited range, making difficult to use in neutral; especially against a crouching opponent.
Juggling Dash[]
Juggling Dash | Juggling Sway | |
---|---|---|
Classic | +>+ | +>+>+ |
Modern | >+ | >+> |
Description[]
- "A quick forward-moving maneuver performed from Jus Cool. While in motion, you are invincible to projectiles."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Juggling Dash (ジャグリンステップ Jagurin Suteppu?, Juggling Step) is executed by pressing forward and any punch button during the back step of Jus Cool. Dee Jay rushes forward a short distance.
This can also be followed up/cancelled by Juggling Sway (ジャグリンスウェイ Jagurin Sū~ei?), which is executed by performing a back motion and pressing punch (Classic)/special (Modern) during Juggling Dash. Dee Jay hops back and taunts his opponent upon stopping.
Tactics[]
- "Allows for a hasty retreat after moving forward with a Juggling Dash. Useful as a feint to confuse opponents after making them think you're going to approach."
- —Street Fighter 6
Jus Cool lets Dee Jay sway in and out of his opponent's range with various follow-ups to keep them guessing. While the individual moves are somewhat slow due to the initial back dash, they are also difficult to predict and generally safe on block. The Overdrive version has a launching hit for Dee Jay to juggle out of.
Juggling Dash is a projectile invincible dash that can be cancelled into Juggling Sway to further confuse opponents. While Air Slasher is a powerful fireball in its own right, certain matchups favor Dee Jay on offense, making it a potent way to bypass zoners.
