Kagenui is one of Ibuki's special attacks, exclusive to the OMEGA Mode of Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Description[]
Executed by performing a "reverse Shoryuken" motion (back, down and down-back) and pressing punch, Ibuki launches a Kunai at the opponent’s feet to stop them in their tracks. The punch button pressed determines the throwing angle of the kunai. The EX version spends two super meter, Ibuki launches three Kunais, and if hit, Ibuki will perform her Super Art, Yami Shigure.
Tactics[]
With Kagenui, Ibuki gets a new option for their attacks on the ground. The EX version causes much more damage than the other versions and makes 7 hits.
Trivia[]
- The version of Yami Shigure this attack activates lacks the blue whip Ki effect of the original attack, this is due to OMEGA mode reusing animations and in this case simply reuses Ibuki's Kasumi Gake with an active hitbox.
