Description

Spider Fang Throw

Juri delivering a knee strike to Cammy during Spider Fang Throw.

"Grab your opponent's head with your foot to make them hunch over, and send them flying with two kicks. Throws your opponent without switching places with them."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control in Street Fighter 6) near an opponent. First, Juri places her foot on the back of her opponent's head to bring them low. With her foot still on top of them, she then lifts her other leg up to deliver a knee strike to their face. While still in midair, Juri spins and delivers a side kick to the opponent's midsection with her opposite leg, knocking them away from her.

Tactics

SpiderFangThrow

Juri kicking Cammy in the chest during Spider Fang Throw.

While Juri's gameplan is to pressure the opponent in a variety of ways, one of her most effective tools to break the opponent's defenses is her throws. Her forward throw is useful to pushing her opponent closer to the corner. It also creates separation between the opponent, allowing Juri to freely use Fuhajin to stock up her special moves. In the corner, this move amplifies Juri's pressure game. After hitting her opponent with Spider Fang Throw in the corner, she has enough time to walk up to them and go for another throw as they are recovering, putting them in a throw loop.
