Kenichi Kakutani (角谷 拳一 Kakutani Ken'ichi?) is a karate instructor that first appeared in Makoto's ending in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. He was also an old friend of Makoto's father, Masaru. His special move is a high roundhouse kick called Ittetsu (一鉄 Ittetsu?, "One Iron").
Kakutani travels within Japan in search of strong opponents. During one of his travels, he heard that the Rindo-kan dojo had a new instructor and challenged Makoto, being defeated by her.[1]
