Description[]

KikokuCombination

Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Punch twice, followed by Heavy Kick (or pressing forward and three consecutive Heavy Attacks for Modern Control), Akuma lunges forward and delivers straight punch with his leading fist into the opponent's body. If the first attack connects, Akuma then steps forward and uppercuts the opponent's chin with an upward palm strike with his other hand. If the second attack hits the opponent, Akuma then finishes the combo with a high spinning heel kick that sends his opponent tumbling away.

Tactics[]

Kikoku Combination

This move is one of Akuma's target combos in Street Fighter 6. Kikoku Combination gives Akuma a viable target combo to create separation while inflicting decent damage. While it has a 13-frame startup, the first punch is a great midrange poke that keeps the opponent at a distance. Akuma is also -3 on block, making difficult to punish if properly spaced.

If he hits the opponent with the first punch, Akuma can link into the second attack of this target combo, launching the opponent into the air. In the corner, Akuma can then link into Heavy Tatsumaki Zanku-kyaku instead of finishing the target combo. However, pressing Heavy Kick after the second hit knocks the opponent back to midscreen, allowing him to continue pressuring the opponent with projectiles. However, the second and third attack of the target combo is unsafe on block, making it crucial for Akuma to hit-confirm the first attack.
