The Killer Straight is one of Urien's unique attacks, introduced in the Street Fighter III series.

Street Fighter V Arcade-Button-LPunch>Arcade-Button-MPunch

Description

Executed by pressing Light Punch, and then Medium Punch, Urien first delivers a quick jab. If the initial attack hits, Urien finishes the combination with a cross punch.

Tactics

This is one of Urien's target combos from close range. It does slightly less damage than his other target combo. However, it can be cancelled into his special attacks, such as Metallic Sphere, Chariot Tackle, or V-Trigger. While this combo is -4 on block, it can be difficult to punish Urien due to the pushback of the two moves.

Despite the fact that the damage is minimal at best, Killer Straight can serve as a combo starter or extender. His Standing Light Punch has a 4 frame startup, making it Urien's go-to move for quick punishes. By linking with Standing Medium Kick and cancelling into one of his special attacks, Urien can inflict a decent amount of damage with this target combo. In addition, Killer Straight can be cancelled from Light Chariot Tackle, allowing him to extend combos and maintain pressure.
