- "Eat it!"
- —Akira
The Kurakusho is one of Akira's throws in Street Fighter V.
Street Fighter V | + (Near opponent in the air) |
---|
Description[]
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) while Akira and her opponent are near each other in the air. After grabbing her opponent in midair, Akira parries her opponent's arm while wrapping her arm around their shoulder blade. She swings her momentum forward to position herself above and parallel to her opponent and the ground. With her opposite hand free, Akira shoves her opponent away, causing them to drop and crash back-first on the ground.
Tactics[]
Akira's has a variety of anti-air attacks like Crouching Heavy Punch or Hotenshu. Her air throw is also a decent anti-air option. It is also good for stuffing out close jump-in attempts, resulting in a knockdown. With a 5-frame startup, Kurakusho can surprise her airborne opponent. However, her air throw inflicts the same damage and stun and her forward throw. Kurakusho also put Akira fairly close to her opponent, giving her solid okizeme. She has enough frames to dash forward and and follow up with Standing or Crouching Medium Punch to maintain pressure. Akira can also fish for Crush Counter hits with Standing Heavy Kick or Kaihosho.
