Description

Kyoshitsugeki

F.A.N.G kicking the back of Cammy's knees using Kyoshitsugeki.

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) and pushing backwards near an opponent. F.A.N.G starts the throw by slipping past his opponent and facing their backside. Next, he squats and thrusts his knees behind his opponent's knees, causing them to lose their balance. As they try to recover, F.A.N.G delivers an overhead axe kick to their head, causing them to land back-first on the ground.

Tactics

This throw is beneficial to get F.A.N.G out of the corner. If his opponent is not quick or back rises. If the opponent is consistently performing slow recoveries, F.A.N.G can take this opportunity to set up meaty Ryobenda and go for tricky mix-ups with his slide. It also does more damage than his forward throw.

However, his back throw is somewhat risky for F.A.N.G. After the throw connects, it leaves the opponent at point blank range next to F.A.N.G. If the opponent is consistently quick rising, it restricts F.A.N.G's options from up close. F.A.N.G's main strategy is to keep his opponent at bay with his zoning tools, draining their health with his poison attacks. When his opponent is up close, F.A.N.G has limited options to defend himself.
