Linear Movement is Laura's second V-Skill in Street Fighter V.
Description
Holding either back or forward and pressing both medium attack buttons will cause Laura to dash in the given direction--her backwards dash can be further extended into a second forward dash by pressing both mediums again. If both mediums are held while in Linear Movement.
While under the effects of Spark Show, Linear Movement both forward and backward is made faster.
Tactics
While Linear Movement is unsafe much in the same way dashes are with any other character in the cast, its utility lies in juking the opponent, baiting reversals and mixing them up at close range with her back-and-forth motion.

Trivia
- Linear Movement's variations--Avante, Esquiva and Finta--translate roughly from Portuguese to "forward", "dodge" and "feint", respectively.
