The Manchester Black is one of Eagle's special attacks, introduced in the original Street Fighter as Rolling Attack[1].

Description[]
Executed by performing a quarter-circle backward motion and pressing punch, Eagle extends his clubs and spins, similar to Zangief's Double Lariat.
The move's duration and ability to move forward are determined by the punch button pressed, with heavier punches lasting longer and allowing to move forwards during the spin.
Tactics[]
Similar to the aforementioned Lariat, it can be used to bypass through certain moves with its invincibility in some installments. It can also be used for corner juggles, and due to its hitbox reaching on both sides of Eagle, a well-timed Manchester Black can stop incoming cross-ups.
Trivia[]
- In SNK's Art of Fighting and The King of Fighters series, the mobster character Mr. Big who also has a similar fighting style as Eagle via Escrima, has a technique named "Spinning Lancer", which acts very similar to Eagle's Manchester Black.
