Description[edit | edit source]
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing punch, Hugo jumps forward into the air, attempting to grab an airborne opponent; if successful, he bearhugs them and performs several moonsault spins in the air before dropping them head-first and crashing down to earth on top of them, shouting out the attack's name.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
In Ultra Street Fighter IV, the Megaton Press can be juggled into from a variety of Hugo's special attacks, including his Ultra Throw, Giant Palm Bomber, and even a Monster Lariat if it hits an airborne opponent.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In Ultra Street Fighter IV, the Megaton Press has a startup of 4 frames, making it one of the fastest non-command grab Ultra Combos. There are three other Ultra Combos with a startup of 4 frames, namely Blanka's Lightning Cannonball, Decapre's anti-air DCM and Rose's Soul Satellite.
- Hugo's rival Alex gained a Critical Art that also involves taking his opponent into the air.
