Description[]
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing either all three punches or all three kicks, Oni unleashes a very powerful Hadoken which can be fired in multiple directions. If used in the air with all three punches, Oni will fire the projectile diagonally downwards. If used on the ground with all three kicks, Oni will fire the projectile up into the air instead.
If the base form's projectile connects at point-blank range on the first hit, this triggers the "full animation" of the move; Oni forces his opponent back with the first projectile as he prepares a second blast. As the projectile lands, the force of the blow causes its energy to surge through them, shaping itself into Oni's kanji character. During the move's full animation, the screen's background also turns white.
If Meido Gohado would result in a KO, no "KO" sign will appear, then if the KO was resulted from the full animation of the move, he will let out an evil laugh.
Boss Oni's version of the Meido Gohado has a slightly quicker startup (as does his Tenchi Sokaigen), but otherwise remains unchanged.
Messatsu-Gozanku[]

The Messatsu-Gozanku (滅殺豪斬空 Messatsu Gou Zankuu?, "Annihilating Great Slashing Air") is an air version of the Meido Gohado; Oni shoots it downwards similar to the Tenma Gou Zanku. It does slightly more damage than the ground version without the animation.
Messatsu-Gotenha[]

---|
The Messatsu-Gotenha (滅殺豪天破 Messatsu Gou Tenha?, "Annihilating Great Heaven Blast") is an anti-air variant; similar to Makoto's Fukiage, this attack can only hit opponents directly above Oni. It has slightly higher damage output than the regular Meido Gohado without the full animation.
Asura's Wrath[]
In the DLC episode of Asura's Wrath, "The Strongest vs. The Angriest", Oni performs it similarly to how it first appears Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Asura can redirect the Meido Gohado and bounce it back at Oni, having his trademark kanji appear behind him just like the animation that plays when you hit an opponent point-blank with the projectile in SSFIV:AE.
