Description

Executed by pressing down-back and Heavy Punch (or pressing down-back and Heavy Attack for Modern control), Dhalsim tilts to his side and extends both of his arms out to perform a double punch at the opponent from a crouching position.
Tactics
Dhalsim has multiple tools and attacks to use on the ground, depending on the situation. His traditional Crouching Heavy Punch can be used as a long-range low poke to keep the opponent at a distance. His Nirvana Punch, however, is more effective from close-range. Unlike his Crouching Heavy Punch, this attack can be cancelled into Dhalsim's special moves. While it has a 10-frame startup, Nirvana Punch is very effective when paired with a Drive Rush. Not only it gives Dhalsim frame advantage on block, but he can also get a variety of combo routes on hit.
Trivia
- This move is similar to Dhalsim's Crouching Heavy Punch in Street Fighter V.
- It also has similar appearances to his Standing Heavy Punch dating back to Street Fighter II without his arms elongating.
