The Nouten Wari is one of Old Zeku's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Punch, Zeku pivots toward his opponent, swinging his arms downward on top of them.
Tactics[]
As an overhead attack, the main purpose is to break through the defenses of an opponent who insists on crouch guarding (as the attack must be blocked from a standing position). The draw back causes considerable delay, and this attack can easily be countered by an aggressive opponent by hitting her beforehand. Similar to most overheads, this attack is unsafe on block. However, while it is -6 on block, it can be difficult for his opponent to punish if properly spaced.
This move is one of Zeku;s overheads, in addition to Kubi Kudaki which can be performed in Young Zeku form. Nouten Wari inflicts slightly more damage than other characters' overheads. Additionally, this attack can be used to get meaty overhead setups. If Zeku scores a Counter Hit with this move, he can link into Standing Light Punch for a small combo. In most cases, Nouten Wari is used as a surprise attack to win the round after conditioning the opponent to constantly crouch block.
