Description

OtokoNoSenaka

Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Akira waves over to her brother, Daigo Kazama, to assist her in the fight. The Japanese word for friendship, yuujou (友情?), appears while she calls out for him, in reference to the Team Up Technique trigger effect in Rival Schools.

Daigo then lands from above to perform a Daichi Zuki ground pound that crumples the opponent on contact, then while they fall to their knees, crosses his arms and faces away before he finishes off with a Shin Otoko no Senaka, bursting in a massive flaming vortex that launches the opponent away. If no directional input or button is pressed after Daigo lands on the ground, Akira cheers on her brother as he performs the Shin Otoko no Senaka. Upon completing the move, she smiles and waves at Daigo while he walks off-screen.

Tactics

Daigo acts independently from Akira after being summoned. Daigo will continue to perform his attacks even if she gets hit, making it possible for the opponent to have their punish attempt being cancelled out, and even get followed up on if Akira is close enough. Akira can either use Daigo as part of her combos, attacking in between to maximize damage, or use him as a pressuring tool, functioning as a combination between C'mon, Nadeshiko and Psycho Cannon. She can also set up her opponent with her second V-Skill after the second hit launches them in the air, leading to further damage. Akira can also dash multiple times and push her opponent toward the corner as they collapse slowly to the ground.

While incredibly powerful for combos and mix-ups, Otoko no Senaka's more limited tracking and longer duration mean that opponents can avoid Daigo simply by moving away after blocking the first hit. It is therefore recommended to either confirm into it at mid-screen or corner the opponent first, letting Akira use more options such as Totenshu.
