Description[]

OuchiGari

Manon flipping Cammy over using Ouchi Gari.

"Grapple with your opponent, slipping your leg between theirs and tossing them to the ground. Throws your opponent without switching places with them."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (or the Light Attack and Medium Attack for Modern Control) near an opponent. After grabbing the opponent by the wrist, Manon pulls them toward her while placing her other hand over their shoulder. As Manon shuffles toward her opponent, she swings her front leg back in between her opponent's legs; sweeping them off of the ground. With a grip on their upper body, Manon uses their momentum to flip them over; causing them to land on their side.

Tactics[]

Manon's throws are extremely useful to open up the opponents who are constantly blocking. While it does significantly less damage compared to her command grab, it has a fast recovery. This means that Manon can still counter her opponent if they jump to avoid her grabs, giving her time to attack. By mixing Manon's normal throws with her command grab, it puts the opponent in a difficult situation where they have to guess what she is going to do next, especially when she has positional and frame advantage.

This move is very effective in the corner. It leaves Manon very close to the opponent, allowing her to approach the opponent while their recovering to put them in a throw loop. She can also perform a Drive Rush and go for a strike-throw mix-up. While Manon's command throw can increase her medal level to make her special moves stronger, Manon's normal throw has a faster startup and gives her a way to inflict easy damage while the opponent is on their heels.
