Description[]
- "A powerful anti-air high kick."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing back and Heavy Kick, Luke swings his rear foot up for a spinning high kick.
Tactics[]
While it has the same startup as Luke's Standing Heavy Kick, this move has a higher hit box, making it a decent anti-air attack. Hitting an airborne opponent with Outlaw Kick also blowback knockdown, which puts them in a juggle state. It is also one of Luke's Crush Counter hit moves that causes the opponent to crumple to the ground, allowing him to dash forward to perform more damaging combos. Unfortunately, Outlaw Kick whiffs if the opponent is crouching. Luke is also +5 on hit. He can link with Standing Light Kick or Brutal Spike if he is within range. Luke can also cancel Outlaw Kick into V-Trigger to regain frame advantage.
In Street Fighter 6, this move can be used as a midrange poke. However, it may whiff against a crouching opponent at a certain distance. If Luke gets a Punish Counter hit with Outlaw Kick, it puts his opponent in a staggering state. This move also gives Luke an additional anti-air attack. Hitting an airborne opponent puts them in a juggle state for an additional follow-up.
