Description[]

OverflowingNile

Menat kicking the orb into Cammy's face using Overflowing Nile.

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Menat grabs her opponent by the collar with one hand. Using her free hand, she drives her orb into her opponent's midsection, pushing them backwards. As the orb returns to its owner, Menat leaps and performs a standing dropkick. She hits the orb with her feet, driving it into her opponent's face. As Menat lands on her feet and catches the orb, her opponent spins and tumbles back into the ground.

Tactics[]

Despite its decent damage output, Menat's throws are essentially important to her gameplay. Overflowing Nile pushes her opponent back about 2/3 of the screen. After the throw, Menat is in an optimal position to zone out her opponent with her long-ranged normals or her special attacks using her orb. Her forward throw also has great corner carry.

If Overflowing Nile is used in the corner, Menat can follow up with Light Soul Sphere for a meaty setup. In addition, her forward throw is more intimidating when her V-Trigger is active. If this move hits her opponent while Menat is in V-Trigger, she can keep her them on their heels and make them second guess their options. While her opponent is frozen, Menat can easily walk forward and perform another throw, giving herself a pseudo-throw loop in the corner.
