Executed by pressing forward and all three punches after blocking an attack, Poison swings her whip toward her opponent, knocking them back to the ground.
Tactics[]
Like most V-Reversals, the purpose is to stop opponent's pressure or to get out of tough situations. The Power Cord is a solid escape option. If the opponent is constantly pressuring, Poison can use this move to create separation and reset the neutral game. Not only it results in a knockdown, but it also pushes them back to the range where Poison can zone out her opponent with her long-range normals and special moves.
During the startup frames of this attack, she is invincible to all types of attacks, with the exception of throws. This move is also relatively safe on block. Additionally, Power Cord is one of the longest reaching V-Reversals in the game. Even against some of her opponent's mid-range attacks, Poison can use this move to regain the advantage and neutralize their pressure.
