Psycho Angriff is Falke's second V-Trigger in Street Fighter V.

Psycho Klinge | ++ |
Description[]
Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Falke twirls around and swings her Psycho Powered staff to knock her opponent in the air, where she then shoots them in the air with a blast of negative energy. This increases her ability to utilize her staff in various ways, giving her access to two new moves.
- Psycho Sturm - Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Falke performs Psycho Sturm, a sweeping hit with her staff that can be cancelled into to extend combos.
- Psycho Klinge - Executed by pressing down and Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick, Falke performs Psycho Klinge, where she jumps forward and executes a midair backflip. Upon completing the rotation, Falke swings her staff downward on her opponent.
Additionally, Falke’s V-Skill can reflect projectiles during Psycho Angriff.
Tactics[]
In contrast to most V-Trigger activations, Psycho Angriff has a unique attack separate from the V-Trigger exclusive attacks. While Falke can cancel into her V-Trigger from normal or special moves, it is critical to confirm into Psycho Angriff on hit. The initial activation is very unsafe on block and whiff, leaving her vulnerable to a heavy combo. Psycho Mine can be used to keep the opponent in blockstun and reduce the risk of being blocked, but due to the extensive start up of both attacks, Falke must be cautious when setting up the mine. However, once activated, Falke's offense and pressure game increase dramatically. If she hits her opponent with the hit on activation, it launches them high in the air, allowing her to cancel into her Critical Art. Falke can also dash forward and maintain pressure with Standing Medium Punch, due to the massive frame advantage she has on hit.
She also receives two new attacks while her second V-Trigger is active. Psycho Sturm is strong, mid-range attack that can end combos. It can be cancelled from Falke's special moves, like Psycho Schneide, Katapult, or her V-Skill. This increases her combo potential and damage output. However, it is also unsafe on block. Even if used at max range, Falke can still be punished. On hit and block, Psycho Sturm can be cancelled into Psycho Mine, letting it be used as a reset to neutral while sending the opponent far enough away to avoid punishing her.
Psycho Klinge is Falke's only overhead attack. If she conditions her opponent to constantly crouch block, she can surprise them with this attack. Despite having a 29-frame startup, Falke is invincible to her opponent's projectiles while she is airborne during the move's active frames. She is also +8 on hit, allowing her to continue the combo with Standing Medium Kick or Crouching Hard Punch. Unlike Psycho Sturm and a majority of overheads, Psycho Klinge is safe on block at +3, making it useful for mixing up her attacks with throws. Psycho Klinge can be cancelled following any grounded attack, including special moves and V-Skills. In particular, Psycho Schneide can be cancelled into Psycho Klinge, making it an optimal combo ender.
While Psycho Angriff is active, Falke can use Psycho Trombe to reflect her opponent's projectiles, including EX, multi-hit, and Critical Art projectiles. She can also cancel from Psycho Trombe into Psycho Klinge or Psycho Sturm at the cost a third of her remaining timer.
