Psycho Barrage (サイコバラージ Saiko Barāji?) is Ed's Critical Art, introduced in Street Fighter V.

Description[]
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and punch, Ed unleashes a flurry of punches and hooks towards his opponent with his fists infused with negative energy. If one of the first seven punches hits, Ed spins all around his opponent, delivering a barrage of even more punches and hooks to their head and body. At the end of the attack, Ed sends his opponent flying with a devastating uppercut to their chin.
Tactics[]
Like most Critical Arts, this move is used to end combos to deal large amounts of damage to the opponent. The Psycho Barrage can be canceled from most of Ed's special attacks such as Psycho Flicker, Psycho Upper, or his second V-Trigger. However, if Ed whiffs his Critical Art, he is forced to go through the full motion of this attack, giving his opponent a free opportunity to capitalize.
During the first 22 frames of this move, Ed is completely invincible. While it requires a hard read, he can used Psycho Barrage to go through fireballs. Additionally, this attack goes through its full animation, even if this Critical Art is used at the end of a juggle combo. While the first hit normally whiffs his opponent, the second hit of Psycho Barrage can still connect, allowing Ed to get optimal damage out of this attack.
Trivia[]
- This is the only one of Ed's moves that involves a quarter-circle motion.
- This move is similar to Dudley's Rolling Thunder but with additional changes.
- In Street Fighter 6, Ed’s level three Super Art, Psycho Chamber, plays similarly to this attack.
