Description[]

PsychoImpact

M. Bison using Psycho Impact against Cammy.

Bison rushes forward and delivers two punches, with the second being covered in Psycho Power energy.

In Street Fighter V, the Psycho Impact is the name of M. Bison's forward. Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent, M. Bison uses Psycho Power to telekinetically lift the opponent off of the ground and spins them in place. Upon completing the rotation, M. Bison fires a burst of negative energy toward the airborne opponent, sending them flying across the stage.

Concept[]

The move is based on Nukite (Penetration Hand) from Grappler Baki. More specifically the one where Jack Hanma used against Alexander Gallen.

Tactics[]

Throw attacks are mainly use to get pass an opponent's defenses if they are constantly guarding. Psycho Impact inflicts more damage and stun than his back throw. Even though the throw sends the opponent across the screen, it is a good move to slow down their pressure or create separation. It is also used to get the opponent into the corner, where M. Bison excels in applying offensive pressure. This move is very handy when M. Bison has his second V-Trigger active. After hitting his opponent with his Psycho Charge command grab, his throw game becomes even more of a threat.
