Description[edit | edit source]

Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Punch, Falke charges up her staff with Psycho Power and lunges the front end of her weapon toward her opponent, infusing them with negative energy on hit.

Tactics[edit | edit source]

This is one of Falke's longest pokes. It has huge range, covering almost half of the screen. This move inflicts a decent amount of damage and stun for a single-hit attack. Psycho Spitze also triggers a Crush Counter hit. It is mainly used to control the spacing between Falke and her opponent. Psycho Spitze has more range than most normals and unique attacks in the game, making it an essential tool that shuts down the opponent's attempt to move forward. This move can also be cancelled into Falke's V-Trigger. Despite it's long startup, it is difficult to anticipate.

However, this attack has a couple of weaknesses. The primary flaw of Psycho Spitze is that it is -10 on block. Even she uses this move at max range, some characters can still punish her from a distance. Another drawback for this attack is that Falke has a hurtbox at the end of her staff during the active frames. Despite its range, her opponent can easily whiff punish her if Falke's attack is just out of range.
