Psycho Trombe is Falke's first V-Skill in Street Fighter V.

Description[]
Executed by pressing Medium Punch and Medium Kick simultaneously, Falke extends one arm and spins her Psycho Powered staff in front of her.
Tactics[]
Like most of Falke's special attacks, this one is used to end combos. It can be linked from most of her Medium and Heavy normals. She can also cancel Psycho Trombe into V-Trigger. While it doesn't inflict as much damage as her other special moves, Psycho Trombe allows her to build up V-Gauge on hit. Because both of Falke's V-Triggers are 2-bars, hitting her opponent with her V-Skill several times can give her quicker access to her V-Trigger.
Psycho Trombe is one of Falke's tools against zoning characters. She can use her V-Skill to negate any single-hitting projectiles. Nullifying her opponent's fireballs also builds V-Meter. If her second V-Trigger is active, her V-Skill becomes more enhanced. Instead of neutralizing projectiles, Psycho Trombe reflects fireballs back at her opponent. During her second V-Trigger, Falke can cancel her V-Skill into her other special attacks or her Critical Art on hit.
However, this move is unsafe on block. In order to make this attack safe, Falke has to cancel into her first V-Trigger to make it +3 on block. While she can use Psycho Trombe to counter zoning characters, the 14-frame startup can make the timing difficult against projectiles. If her opponent throws fireballs at mid-range, Falke may not have enough frames to perform her V-Skill.
