Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and Heavy Kick, Gill takes a small step forward and delivers a straight kick with his right foot. A burst of flames engulf Gill's foot as he extends his right leg forward.
Tactics[]
The kick is somewhat delayed due to the forward step. In return, it gives this move plenty of range making one of Gill's best pokes from mid-range. This is best used as a surprise or disruptive attack. It has a faster startup and inflicts slightly more damage than his Cryo Drop Elbow. Gill is also +4 on hit, allowing him to cancel into Standing Light Punch for a small combo. While this move is still unsafe on block, Gill can cancel Pyro Quarrel Kick into his V-Trigger to make this unique attack safer.
This attack is also one of Gill's Anti-Type-Support attacks. If Gill hits his opponent with Pyro Quarrel Kick while they are in a iced state, then it triggers a Retribution hit. This means that the properties for this unique attack is changed. Not only does this attack inflicts more damage and stun, but it also puts his opponent in a juggle state. This allow Gill to follow up with one of his special attacks, such as Light Pyrokinesis or Medium Pyro/Cryo Cyber Lariat.
Trivia[]
- The animation of this attack is visually similar to Urien's Quarrel Kick.
