The Raging Light (猛る灯火 Takeru Tomoshibi?) is one of Necalli's special attacks featured in Street Fighter V. [1]

Description
Executed by performing a "Shoryuken" motion (forward, downward then down-forward) and pressing punch, Necalli shoots up into the air leading with multiple slashes.
Tactics
This move is one of Necalli's anti-air options. It is equivalent to the "Dragon Punch", which is a traditional Shoto anti-air. The difference between that and Raging Light is that this moves travels more of an arc.
The strength of the punch button determines the amount of hits, the range, and the damage output. The Light version only does one hit and inflicts the least amount of damage. However, it has the fastest startup and goes almost straight up. The Medium version does two hits, slightly more damage, and has a longer range. The Heavy version has the slowest startup. However, it hits the opponent three times. It also inflicts the most damage, and has Necalli travel more forward and up. The EX version hits his opponent five times. Not only it has the fastest startup as the Light version, but also has the same arc and damage output as the Heavy version.
The Raging Light is one of Necalli's strongest reversal options next to his V-Reversal. Like most "Dragon Punches", this move gives Necalli a few frames of invincibility. This allows Necalli to intercept any of his opponent's jump-in attempts. The Raging Light not only serves as an anti-air attack, but a combo ender as well. While it doesn't put Necalli in an optimal position to continue offensive pressure, it inflicts a good amount of damage compared to his other special attacks.
Activating V-Trigger grants this move more invincibility and an additional hit on all version. As with the Shoryuken, whiffing or having the move blocked leaves Necalli unsafe as he falls back to the ground. If Raging Light whiffs or gets blocked, Necalli is vulnerable to any of his opponent's Crush Counter attacks.

Etymology
Keeping in line with the solar theme prevalent in Necalli's moveset, this move is a direct reference to the Sun. The Sun was worshiped as a deity, Huitzilopochtli, by the Aztecs. According to Aztec myths, the Sun i.e Huitzilopochtli was locked in an eternal battle with his siblings, the other celestial bodies in the sky, in order to defend their mother from them. Hence the Sun is said to be perpetually 'raging'.
