Description[]

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Abigail uses his reach to wrap his opponent's head around his arms and lifts them off of the ground. As he rumbles incoherent car noises, Abigail mockingly flicks his index finger to his opponent's face that sends them back flying. His opponent lands on their stomach, almost at a fullscreen distance away from Abigail.

Tactics[]

RedLeaf

This throw is is extremely useful to open up the opponents who are constantly blocking. While it does significantly less damage compared to his command grab, it has a faster recovery. This means that Abigail can still counter his opponent with an anti-air move if they jump to avoid his throws, giving him time to attack. By mixing Abigail's normal throws with his command grabs, it puts the opponent in a difficult situation where they have to guess what he is going to do next.

Red Leaf is useful when trapping his opponent in the corner. If Abigail is not in the corner, then he can use this attack can also be used to reset the neutral game. However, Abigail excels when he is close to his opponent. Because Red Leaf sends his opponent back almost a fullscreen length, it makes it difficult for Abigail to get any kind of meaty or okizeme on his opponent's wake-up.
