Tactics
Street Fighter V
Rashid's throws are highly important to his pressure game. The core of Rashid’s offensive game plan is to lock his opponent down in an extended pressure sequences that can open up opportunities. These include combos, overheads and even more throws. While his Riding Glider doesn't inflict much damage, it can put his opponent in the corner, where his offensive pressure is more dangerous.
Utilizing frame trap combos, EX Whirlwind Shots and V-Skill roll, is a great way to set up throws. Rashid can create many devious mix-ups that include throws, damaging combos, overheads, Crush Counters. With high speed and suffocating pressure, it can be very difficult for his opponent to defend against.

Rashid delivering a dropkick to Cammy during Rider Glider.
Rashid's forward throw is an important tool in his arsenal. His gameplan is to quickly close the distance and overwhelm them with his mobility while pressuring them with strong pokes and mix-up situations. As Rashid keeps his opponent on their heels with a flurry of quick strikes and special moves, he can sneak in a throw to push them closer to the corner. Once he has his opponent in the corner, Rashid pressure game amplifies. He can walk forward and put his opponent in a throw loop. He can also use his mobility to walk out of throw range to force their opponent to tech a throw, thus opening them up for more damage in the corner.
