Description

Rond-Point
"A swift, upwards kick performed while spinning. Useful in combos or, if done early, as an anti-air attack."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick (or pressing forward and Special Attack for Modern control), Manon uses her rear leg to do a quick circular kick, spinning her opponent out.

Tactics

Similar to moves such as the Shoryuken, Rond-point’s primary use is as a combo ender and anti-air. Despite having no invincibility properties, all versions of the move possess strong anti-air hitboxes that can effectively shut down an opponent’s jump-in attempts. When used as an anti-air, the Heavy and Overdrive versions of this move also places the opponent in a juggle state, allowing Manon to follow up with a Medium Dégagé for additional damage and corner carry. Manon can also follow up the Overdrive version of Rond-point with a Renversé to increase Manon’s medal level and, consequently, the damage of her command grabs.

Trivia

  • Rond-point is the French word for "roundabout".
