Rook (ルーク Rūku?), also known by the nickname Rebellion Feather (光闇の羽根リベリオンフェザー?), his emblem Rengoku / Fallen Angel and the code Fallen Angel, is a character who was originally supposed to appear in the canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars as one of the four original characters. Despite only being indirectly connected to the Street Fighter series (via Ingrid's story in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX), he was given a profile in the Street Fighter V character guide.[1]

Biography[]

Rook is a mysterious man whose peculiar genes were awakened by a mysterious organization, thus becoming a "CODE HOLDER”. Always working together with D.D., he doesn't speak too much and has a cool personality.[1]

Moveset[]

Rooks focuses mainly on leg attacks in various combinations. His flashy movements blend together elements of light and darkness.

  • Wind Spear (ウインドスピア?) - An anti-air upward kick.
  • Shifting Dimension Whip (シフティング ディメンション ウィップ?) - A kick that can be performed up to 3 times (similar to Rekkaken). Can be derived with the Wind Spear.
  • Assault Scythe (アサルトサイズ?) - A heel drop done after a short jump.
  • IN HEAVEN - An auto-counter, reversing an opponent's attack against them.

Crossover Appearances[]

Otoranger[]

Rook appeared in the rhythm RPG Otoranger alongside D.D. and Ingrid as a team character named Code Holder.

Trivia[]

  • Rook's name is transliterated as Luke in some Capcom Fighting All-Stars screenshots and the English SFV website.
    • Despite this, Capcom confirmed that Luke and Rook are not one and the same.[2]
