The Ryuubi Kyaku (龍尾脚/リュウビキャク Ryūbikyaku?, lit. "Dragon Tail Leg") is one of Sean's special attacks, introduced in the Street Fighter III series. Ken's version of Ryuubi Kyaku made its debut in Street Fighter 6, with the English version is translated as Dragonlash Kick.

Description[]
Executed by performing a quarter-circle forward motion and pressing kick, Sean performs a tumbling-over wheel kick forward with his leading leg. The distance the kick covers is determined by the kick button used; heavy kick travels about three-quarters of the screen, light kick executes in front of him, and medium kick is somewhere in between. The EX Special version homes in on where the opponent is, and hits twice instead of once.[1]
Meanwhile Ken's Ryuubi Kyaku, uses a Shoryuken motion and kick button to perform a jumping roundhouse kick. The OD version has Ken strike with his other knee for a total of two kicks, switching sides with the opponent in the process.
Tactics[]
Sean's Ryuubi Kyaku is generally safe on block and has fairly high damage and stun, along with being an overhead. However, it is incredibly difficult to use due to its lengthy and non-variable startup. All versions have the exact same frame data for the startup, making it extremely easy to parry, as well as being impossible to use in a combo. At most it can be used as an air-to-air, but it must be done in anticipation of the opponent's attack, and is extremely punishable if whiffed.
Ken's Ryuubi Kyaku, while not an overhead, hits crouching opponents a frame later, going up to +4 on hit and allowing Ken to link afterwards. If Ken is aware of whether or not his opponent is crouching, he can squeeze out more damage from his combos. OD Dragonlash Kick ground bounces while switching sides on airborne opponents, which can be helpful or harmful depending on Ken's positioning. The Heavy Kick version is useful as an approach tool due to being positive on block, however it can be susceptible to Drive Impact if done too predictably.

Trivia[]
- Laura's V-Skill is similar to Ryubi Kyaku, the difference being the position in which she turns and lands on her overhead kick. Since Sean and Laura are siblings, it's possible the moves are one-and-the-same attack with a slight variation between them.
- Ken has already used this move as early as Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000, and has since added it in his arsenal (albeit with a different name) in Street Fighter 6.
