Saikyo Defense (サイキョー流防御, Saikyou Ryuu Bougo, Strongest Style Protection) is one of Dan's special techniques in Street Fighter Alpha 3. He can only use this when using the V-ISM style.

Description
When performed while blocking, Dan thrusts forward slightly. This serves to blunt some of the damage from the blocked attack.
In the OMEGA mode, he dashes backward, creating distance for him to take advantage. This, unfortunately, does not give him breathing space if done in the corner.
