Description[]

Executed by pressing back and Heavy Kick, Dan performs a high-angled front kick. If no directional input or button is pressed, Dan flexes the kicking ankle before dropping back to his stance.

Tactics[]

Saikyo Jawbreaker

With a high hitbox during the move's active frames, the Saikyo Jawbreaker can be a reliable anti-air attack. It has an 11-frame startup and may require a read on the opponent's aerial advances. However, this move can even stuff cross-up attempts. The move is also great during her opponent's wake-up. It is +3 on block, making it one of Dan's safest attacks from close-range. It is also +5 on hit, allowing him to link into his Standing Light Kick for a follow-up combo.

Saikyo Jawbreaker is also one of Dan's Crush Counter moves. On the ground, it puts the opponent into a crumpled state. Dan can then link into Crouching Heavy Punch or cancel into his first V-Trigger for extra damage. If he scores a Crush Counter hit on an airborne opponent, he can follow up with a Heavy Koryuken.
