Description
Executed by pressing forward and medium punch, Gouken does a powerful karate chop to the opponent's midsection while stomping his foot down to increase the power of the strike.
Tactics
Sakotsukudaki functions as a standard overhead, used to attack opponents that are crouch-blocking. Of note is that if it hits meaty, Gouken can combo out of it using his Crouching Light Punch or Forbidden Shoryuken. Gouken also shifts his hurtbox during the move, causing some attacks to whiff.
Trivia
- Sakotsukudaki is named after the Collarbone Breaker (known as Sakotsuwari in Japanese) and modeled after the Zugaihasatsu, sharing a similar chopping motion.
