Description[]

SF6Scrapper

Luke delivering a knee strike to Cammy's midsection using Scrapper.

"Grab your opponent's head and send them flying with two knee strikes. Throws your opponent while switching places with them."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) while holding back on the control stick near an opponent. First, Luke grabs his opponent by their head with both hands and drives a knee into their midsection. Next, similar to Sagat's back throw, he then swings his opponent around to the other side of the screen and delivers a second knee strike their head, knocking them to the ground. In Street Fighter 6, Luke delivers a jumping knee strike to the opponent's chin during his second attack.

In Street Fighter V, Luke has an offensive playstyle who specializes in applying and keeping pressure on his opponent. When he has his opponent on their heels, he can sneak in a throw to break through their defenses. His back throw is a good way to put the opponent back in the corner. It also inflicts more damage and stun than his forward throw. Unlike many back throws in Street Fighter V, Scrapper leaves the opponent closer to Luke, giving him good okizeme. After hitting the opponent with Punisher, he can fish for Crush Counter hits with Heavy Impact or use his projectiles to apply pressure from a distance. He can also go for a meaty Standing Heavy Kick, allowing him to confirm for a decent combo.

Luke regains his original back throw in Street Fighter 6. His throws makes him more of a threat up close. While Scrapper inflicts the same damage as his forward throw, this move allows him to switch sides with his opponent. This is useful when Luke is being pressured in the corner. Additionally, his back throw can be used to create separation from the opponent since it knocks them further away, compared to Sweeper. However, it can be difficult for Luke to maintain pressure against his opponent, even when used in the corner.
