Description

ScratchWheelSF6
"A powerful rising kick. It is invincible against jumping attacks, making it useful as an anti-air attack."
Street Fighter 6

Executed by performing a "Shoryuken" motion (forward, downward then down-forward) and pressing kick, the attack is a jumping, split kick, similar in function to Cammy's Cannon Spike. The height reached and startup time are determined by the kick button used. In Ultra Street Fighter IV, the move also breaks armor and hits 4 times.

The EX Special version introduced in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact is similar to the heavy kick version but executes faster. The Omega Mode version has Elena do a different animation on her Scratch Wheel, performing an outward circular crescent kick with her rear leg dealing 2 hits and follows with a 3-hit Scratch Wheel.

Tactics

Scratch Wheel is one of Elena's most damaging special moves. The attack is extremely fast and works well as an anti-air, though it is easy to be hit out of.[1] If Elena is being pressured, she can use EX Scratch Wheel as an invincible reversal to get herself out of a bind.
