Shikiri is one of Makoto's special attacks, exclusive to Ultra Street Fighter IV's OMEGA Mode.
Description[]
Executed with quarter circle forward and kick, Makoto gets into a sparring stance. This attack acts as a stance cancel of sorts, where Makoto can cancel her normals into it. She also can use this move to cancel her normals into her Ultra Combos and other specials.
Tactics[]
Shikiri is functionally similar to an earliest cancel Hayate, letting Makoto link out of certain normals for unorthodox combos or make some buttons safer on block. The EX version costs two bars and allows for Makoto to cancel into her Ultra Combos, however their properties are modified should they connect in this manner.
