Executed by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick simultaneously, Laura's upper body and feet are surged with electricity. When Shock Stance is activated, by pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick, Laura performs the Matsuda Sway. She undulates and twists her body to the side, dodging her opponent's non-throwing attacks, if timed correctly. By pressing Heavy Punch and Heavy Kick during the Matsuda Sway, Laura performs her Shock Choke command grab.
By selecting this V-Trigger, Laura needs to condition her opponent to succumb to her overwhelming pressure. If she anticipates her opponent is going for a counterattack, she can use Matsuda Sway to bypass their attack, thus allowing her to close the distance and retaliate with her command grab or her other tools to maintain advantageous position. Once she hits her opponent with Shock Choke, Laura can follow-up with another damaging combo.
However, Laura whiffs on the Matsuda Sway, she is vulnerable to her opponent's Crush Counter moves. Additionally, the range for her Shock Choke is limited. By using this V-Trigger instead of Spark Show, Laura is sacrificing damage, resets and comeback potential. This V-Trigger should be selected if Laura has a good read on her opponent and can keep them conditioned to her offensive pressure.
By pressing Medium Punch and Medium Kick simultaneously during Matsuda Sway, Laura can use her V-Skill to dash toward her opponent and follow up with her command grabs, pressure or overhead.
- This move is based on a popular martial arts and wrestling move called the Guillotine Choke. In judo, it is also known as the Mae Hadaka Jime, or the front naked choke.
