Simons (シモンズ Shimonzu?) is a character from the Final Fight series. He is a member of the Mad Gear Gang, and appears as a common enemy in the original Final Fight, appearing as a palette swap of Bred.

Simons is a dark-skinned man wearing a greenish tan jumpsuit and leather boots. He has a flattop haircut, and wears visor sunglasses along with black fingerless gloves.
Personality[]
Simons has a very stoic personality, training every day in order to keep from being lazy. He often spends his time trying to learn new techniques and skills.[1]

Background[]
Not much is known about Simons' life before joining the Mad Gear Gang. Unlike many other members of the Mad Gear Gang, Simons has a wife and children, often taking them to the Metro City Bay Area Park whenever a holiday comes around. His wife is apparently a bit of a spendthrift, at one point purchasing a cleaning robot known as Mambo (マンボ Manbo?) without consulting Simons, leading the two to get into a small argument.[1]

Simons appears as a common enemy in Final Fight, working as one of Belger's henchmen working in the Mad Gear Gang.
Trivia[]
- Dug and Simons were black in the Japanese Super Famicom version of Final Fight, but their skin tones were lightened in the international SNES version.[2]
- The cleaning robot mentioned in Simons' Street Fighter V profile, Mambo, is likely a reference to the Roomba, a popular brand of robotic vacuums.
- As many Final Fight characters are named for famed bands/musicians, it's possible his name is a difference to Gene Simmons of KISS.
