Description[]
Executed by pressing back and Hard Kick, Rose uses her scarf to solidify itself into a pole-like frame using Soul Power. After swinging around once to gain some momentum, Rose extends one leg out and swings it at her opponent as she swings around the second time.
Tactics[]
Soul Pilastro is long-range attack that covers about 1/2 of the screen. Despite its 17-frame startup, this poke can be used to keep her opponent at a distance. However, it is -4 on block, making it risky to use when her opponent is up close. If spaced correctly, then it can be difficult for her opponent to punish.
Additionally, Rose is airborne while she is swinging around her scarf. This is useful to avoid low profile projectile or normals, while still being able to counter as they are recovering. Soul Pilastro is also one of Rose's Crush Counter moves. However, unlike Standing Heavy Kick or Soul Piede, Rose won't be able to follow up for a combo upon a successful Crush Counter hit. It is mainly effective in the neutral game, combining long-range normals and projectiles to zone out her opponents.
