Description[]
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing kick, Rolento balances his knives on the end of his club, then flicks the club to throw them in the air and off the screen. Less than a second later, the knives will reappear and fall to earth wherever the opponent happens to be. How many knives Rolento throws is determined by the level of the Super Combo; the more knives, the harder it is to dodge.
Tactics[]
Since the opponent knows they have to block some falling knives in a second, they will usually be in no position to stop Rolento from pressing the advantage, allowing him a certain amount of free reign. The attack can also be used in concert with another of Rolento's Super Combos, the Take No Prisoners: if Rolento throws the knives up and then uses Take No Prisoners as they fall, the opponent will often be unable to block both.
Trivia[]
- In terms of performance, this attack is essentially the opposite of Ibuki's Kasumi Suzaku. Where Ibuki needs to be in the air (meaning she needs to Jump) to throw Kunai to the ground, Rolento stays in the ground and throws Stinger up in the air.
