Ken Sei Mogura: Street Fighter II (ストリートファイターⅡ 拳聖土竜 Sutorīto Faitā Ⅱ Ken Sei Mogura?) is an arcade "whack-a-mole" style game, developed by Capcom, Sigma and Togo, and released in Japan in 1994.

Gameplay[]

The game plays like any other "whack-a-mole" style game, with a Street Fighter II theme. Player 1's side assumes Ryu and Player 2's side is Chun-Li. The moles are replaced with M. Bisons. On the game screen, it shows the two hitting a chibi style Bison with mallets.

Once the game starts, the player has to use a mallet to hit the Bisons, while the screen shows an automatic Street Fighter II match. The outcome of the fight will depend on the player's performance, and it will pause once the timer reaches 20, and resume afterwards. The first match will be against the character the player didn't choose, and in the second, the player will face Bison himself. The game ends after Bison is defeated.

The character sprites and stages are borrowed from Street Fighter II': Champion Edition, and the intro also features portraits unique to this game, based on promotional artwork for the Street Fighter II series. The music, sound effects and voices are also from the CPS-1 games, and the game includes additional voice acting as well.

Trivia[]

  • Yuko Miyamura voiced Chun-Li in this game prior to voicing her in the Street Fighter Alpha series.
  • Ryu's pose on the side of the wall also appears to be like Akuma's taunt and win pose.
