Street Fighter: World Warrior is a live-action TV series based on the Street Fighter video game series. It is the second season of the Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist series.
Plot
According to a Variety article, the second season picks up where Assassin’s Fist left off, following Ryu and Ken on a warrior's pilgrimage. The Shadaloo criminal cartel makes their debut, along with their leader, M. Bison. The events of the season will lead into the World Warrior tournament”.[1][2][3]

Development
Joey Ansah announced at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con that the second season is in development.[4][5][1][6] Although, in light of the production of Street Fighter: Resurrection, development of World Warrior may have been pushed back. In 2018, Deadline announced that Entertainment One/Mark Gordon has closed a deal to develop, produce and finance a small screen adaptation of Capcom's best-selling series of Street Fighter video games with the creative team behind live-action web series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, Joey Ansah, Jacqueline Quella and Mark Wooding, on board as executive producers. The series will be based on Street Fighter II: The World Warrior and feature Ryu, Ken, Guile and Chun-Li as the main characters, and M. Bison as the main villain.[3]
