Street Fighter VR: Shadaloo Enhancement Plan is an upcoming Virtual Reality (VR) Street Fighter game by Capcom, releasing in Japan-only in 2023. It is the first-ever VR work in the series.
A location test of the game was held on February 17, 2023 in the permanent VR-X corner at the Plaza Capcom Hiroshima Store.
Story
The player becomes a low-ranking Shadaloo soldier, and undergoes combat training in a virtual simulator against a selection of the fighters of Street Fighter V in order to become the organization's strongest warrior recognized by M. Bison.
Gameplay
The battle rules of Street Fighter VR remain the same as in Street Fighter V, but the fights are all played from a first-person perspective, just like in the Way of the Hado mode from Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. When starting the game, the player has to take a tutorial battle against a virtual hologram of Ryu, and a guide character will be displayed on-screen to give the player instructions on how to move their body. Players will need to hold special motion controllers and have the VR headset on to play. Punching is performed by pulling your fist slightly and then thrusting it out, while for strong punches, the player needs to pull their fist a lot, then throw a punch at the exact time when the fist mark appears on-screen. Guarding is now performed by holding your fist in front of your face, and while doing so, it's possible to prevent attacks other than the opponent's throws. Also, the actual movement of the player itself is reflected in-game, allowing them to see the VR space from their positioned angle. The player will have to face Ryu, Zangief, and M. Bison in that order. At the end of each battle, the result of a stage will be ranked in nine ranks depending on how well the player performed.
The player has access to Ryu's moveset, which comprises of Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Shinku Hadoken, with some moves depleting the Super/Critical Art gauge that fills when you attack the opponent or guard successfully. To perform Hadoken, the player must pull both fists back and thrust them forward. Shoryuken is performed by pulling one fist slightly downward, then pushing it upward. It's possible to hit the opponent with it, sending it backward for a Wall Bounce, giving a chance for the player to hit the returning opponent. Shinku Hadoken can only be performed when the Super/Critical Art gauge is full, and the player must pull both fists back and store them a little, then push forward. The Super/Critical Art will also level up if the player performs well in a stage.

Trivia
- This game re-uses various assets from Street Fighter V and it's Arcade Edition and Champion Edition updates, such as the in-game UI, stages, animations and character models.
- The gameplay concept of this game was inspired by an unused PlayStation VR Battle mode for Street Fighter V.
- In this game, the camera angle does not change during the opponent's pre-fight intro animation at the start of a match, unlike in Street Fighter V as the camera is always set to the player's position.
- This is the second Japan-only game in the Street Fighter series to have a virtual holographic version of Ryu as an opponent, the first being Street Fighter II: The Interactive Movie.
