- "Lunge forward and perform a sequence of attacks starting with a knee strike. All attacks after the first one must be activated by pressing buttons in the correct order."

Description[]
- "Launch an opponent into the air with an uppercut and smack them in the face as they come back down. Switches positions with your opponent upon completion."
- —Description of Climactic Strike, Street Fighter 6
Executed by performing two quarter-circle forward motions and pressing any punch button, Dee Jay delivers a knee strike to his opponent before breaking out into a rhythmic combo by pressing the following buttons in order:
- - A downward hook punch
- - An downward backfist
- - A spinning backfist
- - A spinning high kick
- - A downward cartwheel kick
- - A double wheel kick
By pressing all 6 buttons in sequential order in a specific rhythm, Dee Jay gains two follow-up attacks to complete the combo. Pressing after the final attack has Dee Jay performing the Climactic Strike (クライマックスブロー Kuraimakkusu Burō?, Climax Blow). He uppercuts his opponent high that launches them high and over him. After winding up, Dee Jay delivers a massive punch that knocks them away. Pressing allows Dee Jay to perform the Encore Beat (アンコールビート Ankōru Bīto?). After the final attack, he hops back onto his hands, then springs forward to deliver a dropkick to his opponent.
Tactics[]
- "Plant both arms on the ground and kick upwards with both legs. Most effective when used with your opponent in the corner."
- —Description of Encore Beat, Street Fighter 6
Sunrise Festival's three variants have varying risk and reward. Lowkey Sunrise Festival has an extremely lenient button timing, only requiring Dee Jay to press the the six buttons in sequence, but also deals less damage and is unable to add Climactic Strike or Encore Beat at the end. Marvelous and Headliner have less hitstop on the individual hits and require Dee Jay to press the next button immediately after the previous strike connects.
Missing the rhythm bonus prevents Dee Jay from getting any further chances and cuts the damage of each hit to below Lowkey Sunrise Festival. Failing to press the button entirely causes Dee Jay to drop out of the entire sequence and be +6 on hit. While this is generally unfavorable, Dee Jay can still link into his crouching Medium Punch to continue his combo. A successful Sunrise Festival can be ended with Climactic Strike to switch corners or Encore Beat to get immediate pressure on the opponent's wakeup.
Sunrise Festival, while invincible, is also considerably slow at 12 frames of startup, making it unfavorable as a reversal. It can be used as an anti-projectile option, but it has to be done at a close enough range to get the rest of the hits and to avoid being hit while traveling.
Trivia[]
- This attack's continuous input is styled after Geese Howard's Deadly Rave.
- The names of Sunrise Festival's variants are plays on the buttons used to perform them (Lowkey -> Light Punch).
